I will never forget the raised, gloved fists of Tommy Smith and John Carlos on the podium at the Olympic Games in Mexico City. That was a teaching moment for this 11 year old boy. The power of their message and protest made them heroes to me.
I enjoyed the conversation with Ari. His art in humor and observations is a service to humanity and even though he might not see it as spiritual living I say his work is absolutely spiritual because it touches people in a very deep way and makes them feel.
This is My dangerous thing: To some is very convenient that we keep going trought Life as "asleep" So we seem to be more "costume" to what's Wrong and what we cannot change, and most "used" to pain and suffer and that , for "some" It seems like is very convenient....
I do like this poem. It compensates for a lot of what I was missing in Ari's conversation with Rainn. Please get back to the subject of soul...as this poem does.
